What coaching here is, what it is not, and the terms that apply when you book.

What coaching is
Coaching through The Early Career Coach is career guidance, education, and support. It helps you get clear on direction, prepare for interviews, and present your experience with confidence. Sessions are held by video call.
No guaranteed outcomes
Coaching cannot promise a job, an interview, a promotion, an admission, or a salary. Outcomes depend on many things outside any coach's control, including your own effort and the decisions of employers, schools, and organizations. Results and stories shared on this site describe real past work and do not guarantee what will happen for you.
Not professional advice
Coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed professional. It is also not legal, tax, financial, or medical advice. For those needs, work with a licensed professional in that field. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.
Who can book
You must be 18 or older to book and pay for a session. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must book on your behalf and agree to these terms.
Payment, scheduling, and cancellation
Sessions are paid through Stripe when you book. After payment, you will receive an email to confirm scheduling, meeting details, and next steps. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your session. No-show fees are non-refundable.
Programs for organizations
Cohort programs such as What Comes Next are provided to organizations under a separate written agreement. If that agreement and these terms ever conflict, the written agreement controls for that program.
Materials
Guides, worksheets, and other materials from The Early Career Coach are for your personal use. Please do not copy, resell, or redistribute them.
The question box on this site
The Ask Devin box gives pre-written answers to common questions. It is not a live conversation, and its answers are general information, not personal advice. Questions typed into it are recorded and reviewed by Devin to improve the answers, as described in the Privacy PolicyTerms.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Early Career Coach is not liable for decisions you make, or outcomes that follow, based on coaching, this website, or its materials.
Changes and contact
