Coaching Basics

What does an early career coach do?

An early career coach helps you get clear on what you want and how to get there. With Devin, that means working through career direction, resumes and LinkedIn, mock interviews, salary negotiation, and the confidence to walk into rooms you are still learning. Sessions focus on the decision in front of you and end with concrete next steps.

Who do you work with?

Students, recent graduates, and first-generation professionals, and people in their first ten years of work who feel stuck, are changing direction, or are stepping into a first manager role. Senior and director level leaders work with Devin through Better Work, where he is an Industry Partner.

What if I don't know what I want to do yet?

That's actually a great place to start. A big part of the work is helping you think through what you value, what energizes you, and what kind of career actually fits who you are. You don't need to have it figured out before we talk.

I'm running low on energy and do not know where to start. Can you still help?

Yes. You do not need to show up with a plan. We can create space to think clearly, notice what matters most, and identify a useful place to begin.

I come from an underrepresented background. Is this space for me?

Yes. I work with people from all backgrounds, and I understand the additional layers that come with navigating professional spaces where you may not see yourself reflected. Part of the work is helping you recognize your value, see yourself in the roles you're reaching for, and build confidence that's grounded in who you actually are.

Cost and Booking

How much does career coaching cost?

A single Strategy Session is $125. The Roadmap is $350 for three sessions, and The Full Picture is $550 for five sessions. You can see everything each path includes on the Services page, and payment is completed securely through Stripe when you book.

What's the difference between the paths?

Each path is designed around the depth of support you need. The Roadmap is three sessions for graduates, career changers, or anyone returning to work who wants to build a focused career strategy with interview prep, negotiation skills, and networking tactics. The Full Picture is five sessions for professionals switching industries, changing career directions, or anyone ready for deeper work on positioning, leadership, networking, and long-term growth.

Is one session enough?

Often, yes, for a specific, focused challenge. The single Strategy Session is built to give you clarity and a concrete next step on one issue, like prepping for an interview, pressure-testing a decision, or getting unstuck. If you're working through bigger questions about direction, transitions, and confidence, the three-session Roadmap or five-session Full Picture give you the room to go deeper and build momentum over time.

Do I need to prepare anything?

Just come as you are. When you book, you'll share a bit about your situation so the session is focused. If you have a resume or LinkedIn profile, it helps to have those ready, but there's no homework required.

Are sessions held online?

Yes. Sessions are held by video call, so you can work with Devin from anywhere. After you book, you will receive an email confirming your time and meeting details.

How do I book, and what happens after?

Pick a path on the Book page and complete payment securely through Stripe. After you book, you'll receive an email to confirm scheduling, meeting details, and next steps.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your session. No-show fees are non-refundable.

Organizations and Speaking

Do you work with organizations?

Yes. Through What Comes Next, a four-session coaching cohort, Devin works with universities, nonprofits, scholarship programs, and companies. The program piloted in summer 2026 with Reboot Representation. See the What Comes Next page, or use the contact page to start a conversation.

Can I invite Devin to speak?

Yes. Devin speaks to universities, nonprofits, and professional groups on career readiness, first-generation success, and how AI is changing the start of a career. Invite him through the contact page.
